SUNGAI PETANI, June 9 – What began as a solemn journey to visit their late father’s grave ended in heartbreak for Siti Nur Atikah Ahmad Shukri, who lost six loved ones in a horrific crash at Kampung Baru Pinang Tunggal.

Among the victims were her son Iskandar Arfan Ibrahim, mother Nora Mhd Husin, brothers Ahmad Shafiq, and Ahmad Fahim, sister‑in‑law Jamaliah Sannusi, and infant nephew Ahmad Mikail, 2 months. Another child, Aulia Sofea, 3, survived with serious injuries. Atikah, already grieving her father’s death in February, said she never imagined her family’s visit to his grave would end with them being buried beside him.
