SEPANG: Police are hunting for a monk who allegedly molested a woman during a prayer ritual at a temple in Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi. Sepang OCPD Asst Comm Norhizam Bahaman said the victim lodged a report on Friday (July 4), claiming the substitute monk sprinkled water on her before molesting her. The temple’s regular monk is currently overseas. The suspect fled before the victim returned with her family to confront him. The case is being investigated under Section 354 of the Penal Code for intent to outrage modesty. Efforts to track down the suspect are ongoing.
