Muar MP Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman must wait another two weeks for the outcome of his case after the Federal Court postponed proceedings today. Court of Appeal President Abu Bakar Jais informed parties that one of the presiding judges, Che Ruzima Ghazali, is on medical leave.
Syed Saddiq’s Fate Hinges on July 13 Hearing
As a result, the hearing has been rescheduled to 13 July. The Federal Court had initially been set to deliver its decision today on the Attorney General’s Chambers’ appeal against Syed Saddiq’s acquittal in a corruption case, but the ruling will now be delayed until the new date.
