Special Tax Relief for the Purchase of Sports Equipments

The Budget 2024 is being debated by the public and politicians. While some want the government to include Tesla in the Budget – weird proposal indeed – others are angry that some form of ‘aid’ to the public is reduced. But YB Hannah Yeoh did not hide her happy moment:

"Game-changer" Belanjawan 2024 – Kerajaan mencadangkan pelepasan cukai khusus untuk pembelian peralatan dan aktiviti sukan terhad sehingga 1,000 ringgit. Pelepasan ini juga akan diperluas meliputi perbelanjaan yuran mengikuti latihan
sukan.

“Game-changer” Budget 2024 – The government proposes special tax relief for the purchase of sports equipment and activities limited to 1,000 ringgit. This relief will also be extended to cover the cost of training fees. This makes me HAPPIEST!! TQ PMX!,” she wrote on the X platform.
