He responded to criticism from Subang and Shah Alam Consumers Association (CASSA) president Datuk Seri Dr Jacob George, urging him to witness the reality of the situation on the ground. Akmal emphasized that this is not discrimination but a prioritization of Malaysians’ needs. “Inhumane measure he said. When there is enough and even excessive rice supply, then let anybody buy it.
