Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) has officially expelled a 21-year-old student, S. Vikneswaran, following a disciplinary hearing on March 9. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Yatimah Alias confirmed that the student was found guilty of violating university rules by posting content related to race, religion, and royalty (3R) that incited hatred and threatened public harmony.
UMPSA Expels Student
The expulsion follows a court appearance on March 3, where the student pleaded not guilty to charges of desecrating the Quran and making offensive communications. The university emphasized that it will not compromise on actions that tarnish its reputation or jeopardize national unity.
