US Feds Pushing To Improve Air Travel

1 min read

The United States is known for a lot of things, whether it is good or bad. One of their most well known problems is related to air travel. Since the 9/11 attacks, air travel in the US has been a far cry from its luxurious past back in the 1950s and 1960s. Many of the better serviced airlines have reduced themselves to basically a low-cost carrier type airline.

Now, with the recent picketing Delta Air is facing with their pilots, a number of flights have been delayed. This would of course cause disruption to their customer’s plans and schedules. However, the Feds have a trick up their sleeves in aiding the airline customers.

They launched a section in their website for customers to crosscheck on the airline’s rules and procedures when it comes to delays or refunds. Furthermore, airlines are considering giving their passengers free food or snacks if their flights are delayed for a certain amount of time.
