Social media platforms are reportedly becoming a hub for explicit content, including nude photos and s*x videos. According to Kosmo!, women sell images of their private parts for as little as RM12 on X, while a user with over 100,000 followers charges RM100 to reply to messages.

These account owners often hide their faces in their posts. The New Straits Times reported that “Made in Malaysia” pornography is being sold on social media. Last month, a social media user known as “Miza Ozawa” was sentenced to two months in jail for offering prostitution services on Telegram.
