Apparently, it is common for the older generations to comment on how the youth of today aren’t as hard working as they were. However, X users state the older boomer generation had little to no issues when it comes to purchasing a home, and cost of living back then were bearable.

Furthermore, other users add that the older generation bought their house with “jelly beans” and a ball of yarn. This is implying that these homes were extremely affordable back in the day. For most of the world today, this is no longer the case as these houses are probably worth millions now.
