National Anti‑Drug Agency Staff Killed in Collision with Alphard

BERA, July 4 – A staff member of the National Anti‑Drug Agency (AADK), Mohamed Sharif Mohamed Ali, 37, was killed after his Perodua Alza was struck by a Toyota Alphard at Kilometer 18, Jalan Temerloh‑Bahau. The accident occurred around 10.30 a.m.

Friday when the Alphard, driven by a 29‑year‑old man, allegedly lost control and veered into the opposite lane, crashing head‑on into Sharif’s vehicle. The impact forced the Alza off the road, leaving Sharif fatally injured at the scene. The Al phard driver and passenger sustained leg injuries. Police said the crash was caused by driver negligence. Sharif’s body was sent to Hospital Bera for post‑mortem examination.
