Apple has officially announced the iPhone 16 series event, surprising many with an earlier-than-expected date. The keynote will take place on Monday, September 9, at 10 a.m. Pacific, at the Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino.

This marks the first time Apple has chosen a Monday for such a major unveiling, sparking speculation that the shift is to avoid clashing with the upcoming Presidential debate.
The event will also likely reveal new Apple Watch models and AirPods. Pre-orders are expected to start on Friday, September 13, with products available from September 20.
