Sanusi stressed that no one should be protected, regardless of status, and likened the crisis to anti‑drug crackdowns abroad. He highlighted the suffering of families forced to bail addicted children and warned that controversial actions may be necessary to combat what he called Malaysia’s “number one enemy.”
