The Media Interaction for Construct Uganda Expo 2026, co‑located with the Power, Energy & Solar Uganda Expo, was held on May 14 in Kampala ahead of the exhibitions scheduled for May 21–23 at UMA Show Grounds. The session gathered leaders from Uganda’s construction, infrastructure, manufacturing, and renewable energy sectors, supported by Felicity Solar as Gold Sponsor and Max Hardware & Tools Ltd as Silver Sponsor.

Speakers emphasized Uganda’s rapid urbanization, rising electricity demand, and the need for diversified energy solutions beyond hydropower. Solar energy, currently contributing 100–150 MW, is expanding through government initiatives and private partnerships, while construction continues to drive over 12% of GDP.
Industry leaders highlighted opportunities in housing, transport, industrial parks, and sustainable infrastructure. The Expo is expected to attract global exhibitors, investors, and innovators, creating a platform for technology transfer, business networking, and inclusive growth across Uganda’s construction and renewable energy sectors.
