New: DAP, PAS shows support to Teresa Kok after threats against her

The DAP leadership has condemned the death threat made against its vice-chairman Teresa Kok, who is also the Seputeh MP. secretary-general Loke Siew Fook said all acts of violence are unacceptable, especially when addressing differences of opinion in politics. “The entire leadership stands in solidarity with her (Kok) in facing this threat,” he said in a Facebook post.

The PAS also sent its support for Teresa, strongly condemned the death threat against the MP. PAS Secretary-General Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan stated that Teresa is entitled to all protections provided under the law against any criminal acts and unlawful behavior. Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil has also condemned the death threat made against Kok in the name of the government.
