Apparently, there has been a rumor flying around claiming that foreign migrants are earning more than Malaysians, at RM3,000 in contrast to some locals earning only RM1,500. However, netizens state that they are in two very different style jobs as foreigners are more inclined to do hard labour.
Foreign migrants defended as Malaysians not keen with hard labor jobs
Netizens shared their opinions regarding the matter. One states that those who are complaining should try and apply for these hard labor jobs, and thus, they’d probably get paid more. Furthermore, another claim is that foreign workers are hard workers in contrast to locals.
Others state that the impression of some jobs being “low class” is one of the reasons why we’re having an influx of migrants from all over Asia.
