SINGAPORE, July 28, 2026 – A 70‑year‑old man pleaded guilty in the High Court to sexually assaulting 11 children over three decades, including his daughter, granddaughters, nieces, and pupils from his enrichment centre, according to The Straits Times. Prosecutors revealed the victims were between five and 10 years old when the abuse began. The man and his wife operated an enrichment centre from 1997 to 2021, where several victims were targeted. He raped his daughter in 2005, later assaulted his granddaughters in 2023, and molested nieces and students during tuition sessions.

Deputy Public Prosecutor Jiang Ke‑yue described him as “a danger to children,” citing a psychiatric report diagnosing him with paedophilic disorder. The man had previously served prison terms, including a 2020 sentence for abusing three sisters. He faces sentencing on September 7, with prosecutors seeking 32 to 36 years’ jail. A gag order prevents publication of his name.
