A new political party led by Hamzah Zainudin is expected to be unveiled in mid‑June, according to sources aligned with the former Bersatu deputy president. Preparations for the launch in Kuala Lumpur are reportedly “almost complete,” with supporters set to attend a “Reset convention” before the Dewan Rakyat meeting on June 22.
New Party
Hamzah, sacked from Bersatu in February amid a leadership tussle, introduced his Reset movement the following day. He has since been linked to plans with other expelled Bersatu leaders, including Saifuddin Abdullah, Wan Ahmad Fayhsal, and Wan Saiful Wan Jan. Over 200,000 members are said to back Reset.
