SHAH ALAM – A viral video has exposed alleged illegal activities in Raub, Pahang, claiming over 17,000 hectares of forest reserve were unlawfully logged, followed by illegal durian plantations and foreign settlements. The anonymous spokesperson highlighted unauthorized logging profits, bald forests, and undocumented foreigners living in illegal settlements, barely fluent in the national language. The video, circulating amid reports of illegal Musang King durian farms, follows police reports of obstructed enforcement operations since April 8, 2025. Sultan Pahang condemned the encroachment as “open robbery,” banning new land approvals. Shockingly, the video alleges a luxury bungalow and illegal housing projects thriving in the area.
