An 11‑year‑old boy died from severe head injuries after his motorcycle collided with another underage rider’s vehicle along Jalan Kampung Betong, Sik, yesterday evening. District police chief Superintendent Shamzury Saman said the crash occurred at 6.30pm when the victim lost control of his Honda C100 and rammed into the rear of a motorcycle ridden by a 13‑year‑old.
13‑Year‑Old Rider Escapes With Minor Injuries
The younger boy was rushed to Sik Hospital but pronounced dead at 8.45pm, while the older rider sustained minor injuries. Authorities are investigating under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987. Police urged parents to strictly monitor children to prevent unlicensed, helmetless riding.
