The Road Transport Department (JPJ) has announced a recall of 3,722 vehicles, including Perodua Alza, Aruz models, and the Honda CB350RS motorcycle, due to critical safety issues. The recall targets specific 2024 models: 2,518 units of Alza, 1,139 units of Aruz, and 65 CB350RS motorcycles. JPJ’s inspections identified two main concerns: headlight misalignment on Perodua’s Alza and Aruz models, and a faulty speed sensor in the CB350RS, which affects the motorcycle’s ABS, traction control, and speedometer. Affected owners will be contacted by Perodua and Boon Siew Honda for inspection and necessary adjustments.
