Earlier reports revealed that post-mortems on the wife and two children showed injuries caused by sharp weapons. The 48‑year‑old man was reported to have fallen from the condominium, while his 47‑year‑old wife and their children, aged nine and seven, were discovered dead in separate rooms inside the unit.
Police received a report at 3.32pm on Thursday and entered the residence with assistance from the Fire and Rescue Department. Investigations later suggested the deaths may be linked to a love scam and illegal investment losses amounting to RM260,000, adding a financial dimension to the tragedy.
