PUTRAJAYA – The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) confirmed it has received an official complaint from the People’s Social Media Action Secretariat (SekPur) regarding alleged financial transactions involving a former minister. The complaint, related to a vending machine project, was lodged by SekPur’s Political Bureau chairman Shahbudin Embun and member Major Razali Zakaria at MACC headquarters.

MACC’s Strategic Communications director Hisyam Mohd Yusoff said documents were submitted and will be reviewed. The allegations claim RM500,000 was paid as political funds or lobbying. Former Economy Minister Rafizi Ramli has denied receiving such payments, calling the claims baseless and fabricated.
