Digital Minister Gobind Singh Deo said Malaysia is positioning itself as a trusted digital hub for global technology investment while safeguarding national interests, cybersecurity, data governance and digital sovereignty. He said Malaysia remains open to global technology partnerships and aims to serve as a trusted ASEAN base for digital investment, supported by strong governance and resilient digital infrastructure.

Last year alone, Malaysia secured RM87 billion in approved digital investments, expected to generate more than 31,000 high-value jobs. This reflects the MADANI Government’s commitment to building a digital economy that creates opportunities for businesses, MSMEs and rakyat across the country.
