It is a strange encounter where the police in Melaka caught a couple together in a hotel room “khalwat” earlier this morning. When caught, the boyfriend states that he is merely teaching his girlfriend on how to play a football game in the hotel room.

Netizens firstly state that this is a personal issue. Even if it is sinning, it is upon the individuals involved with the situation. They claim that it is a wastage of manpower in looking to bust adulterers, especially in states like Melaka.
Others are claiming that they were playing “lato-lato.” For those that do not know, “lato-lato” is a recently viral toy where two balls are smacking eachother. Twitter users also state that if a hotel is requesting for an individual’s IC, it could lead to a bust in from the religious authorities.
