Mother and teenage daughter found dead in luxury car in Johor

JOHOR BAHRU, Jan 24 — A 42-year-old mother and her 14-year-old daughter were found dead in a luxury car in Bandar Baru Uda. Johor Bahru Northern District police chief Assistant Commissioner Balveer Singh said early investigations suggest petrol fumes leaked into the air-conditioning system. The pair reportedly stopped to rest after shopping nearby. Police received a report from a passer-by at 10pm on Jan 23. A postmortem is underway at Hospital Sultanah Aminah.
