PETALING JAYA, July 27, 2026 – Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has appealed to members of the Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) and the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), along with their families, to continue supporting Pakatan Harapan (PH) candidates in the upcoming Negeri Sembilan state election.

Anwar emphasized that each vote carries more than political weight, describing it as a trust to strengthen welfare and well-being of security personnel and their families. “I realize much remains to be improved, and I have never considered what has been done sufficient. With continued support and mandate, we will work harder to uplift the nation, defend the people’s welfare, and enhance the well-being of our security forces,” he said in a Facebook post.
Early voting centers for the 16th Negeri Sembilan election will open Tuesday, involving 16,884 military personnel and spouses and 5,455 police officers.
