In Shah Alam, PKR’s Deputy President Nurul Izzah Anwar and Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail were named joint election directors for the party’s new leadership term, announced Chief Information Officer Datuk Fahmi Fadzil. The decision, made during the Political Bureau and Central Leadership Council meeting, also saw Datuk Dr Fuziah Salleh and William Leong retaining their roles as secretary-general and treasurer-general. Datuk Mustapha Sakmud was appointed Sabah State Leadership Council chairman. The meeting discussed global geopolitics, economy, and preparations for the Sabah state election, expressing gratitude to former leaders for their contributions.
