Pensioner Loses Nine Properties in Putra Heights Explosion

A government pensioner, Zainudin Abdul Halim, lost nine properties, including his home and rental units, worth over RM1.5 million due to the Putra Heights gas pipeline explosion. Despite sustaining burns on 70% of his body, he expressed gratitude for surviving the tragedy, narrowly escaping death.

His son also suffered severe burns while fleeing the inferno. The explosion occurred on Hari Raya Day 2, April 1, shaking homes and turning the sky red. Zainudin and his family managed to escape to safety with the help of first responders, highlighting the devastating impact on their lives and the community.
