Pandan MP Rafizi Ramli and Setiawangsa MP Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad have announced their immediate departure from PKR, vacating their parliamentary seats to join Parti Bersama Malaysia. Both will submit resignation letters to Dewan Rakyat Speaker Johari Abdul and PKR secretary‑general Fuziah Salleh.
Quit PKR
Rafizi, a PKR member for nearly 27 years, and Nik Nazmi, who joined in the late 1990s, resigned ministerial posts in May 2025 after losing party elections. Their ties with PKR leadership soured, with Rafizi openly critical of the government since. The move signals a major shift in Malaysia’s political landscape.
