Former PKR deputy president Datuk Seri Rafizi Ramli has cautioned UMNO that its political maneuvering in Negeri Sembilan may trigger unintended consequences. He suggested UMNO views the attempt to replace the Chief Minister as a natural step to strengthen its position ahead of the 16th General Election (GE16).
Rafizi Warns
Rafizi argued UMNO may believe Barisan Nasional is currently the strongest coalition, given internal issues in Pakatan Harapan and Perikatan Nasional. However, he warned the move could remind voters why UMNO was defeated in the last general election, potentially undermining its strategy to build momentum for GE16.
