Former economy minister Rafizi Ramli arrived at the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) today to assist in an ongoing probe linked to the government’s joint venture with Arm Holdings. The investigation centres on alleged governance and financial issues tied to the multi-billion ringgit deal.

The Pandan MP had earlier confirmed receiving a notice requiring him to provide a statement at the MACC headquarters in Putrajaya. He has also indicated the possibility of facing charges but maintains his innocence, describing the probe as part of broader scrutiny into the agreement.
The case forms part of wider investigations into major government-linked deals, with authorities examining potential abuse of power and transparency concerns surrounding the semiconductor partnership.
