Rais Yatim Recalls Mahathir’s Book Ban
He noted PH had promised to abolish restrictive laws like the Printing Presses and Publications Act 1984, but recent bans undermine credibility. He recalled past bans, including Dr. Mahathir’s The Malay Dilemma, urging Malaysians to read widely instead of relying solely on the internet for information.
