A viral X post shows that the RM1 notes signed by our former BNM chief, Zeti Aziz, are allegedly worth RM3,000 a piece. Additionally, the previous high for these notes was around RM1,000 in February 2023. Netizens are keen to check if their RM1 notes are worth anything.

Others are sceptical towards this as they fear it might be a scam. Some feel that it could probably be due to a technical error in these notes, hence why the value is higher than it should be. Or, in some special instances, the serial number for the notes are unique.
