SEBERANG PERAI, June 2 – A 31‑year‑old Rohingya man was killed in a stabbing incident linked to a domestic dispute at a house in Taman Belibis, Simpang Ampat, yesterday afternoon. Police said the victim was found unconscious with multiple stab wounds and pronounced dead at the scene.

A 26‑year‑old woman was injured and taken to Hospital Seberang Jaya for treatment. District police chief Jay January Siowou confirmed that a 38‑year‑old suspect was detained by members of the public before being handed to police, along with two others assisting investigations. A knife believed to be the weapon was seized.
