The Ministry of Plantation and Commodities (KPK) has allocated RM44.83 million to repair 131 farm roads in Sabah and Sarawak from 2022 to June 30, 2025. Sabah accounted for 92 projects spanning 164.8 km, costing RM29.97 million, while Sarawak had 39 projects over 90 km, costing RM14.86 million.

These repairs have benefited smallholders of oil palm, rubber, cocoa, and pepper. KPK also submitted a proposal to the Ministry of Economy seeking additional funds under the 13th Malaysia Plan. The ministry reaffirmed its commitment to helping smallholders nationwide facing challenges in transporting crops due to damaged rural infrastructure.
