A school bus engine gearbox suddenly fell off while in transit, causing the vehicle to break down in the middle of the road and blocking the way for over 20 elementary school students on their way home.

The incident occurred at around 1 pm on Wednesday, April 12, at the junction of Redhill Close and Redhill Road, outside the Redhill Market. The affected students were safely evacuated to a nearby walkway while a tow truck arrived to remove the stranded bus.
The driver, who owns the bus, reported the incident to the nearby bus company and arranged for a replacement bus to take the students home.
