The man, single and childless, has multiple medical conditions, uses a wheelchair, and suffers from cognitive impairment and agitation issues. Financially, he has been unemployed and dependent on long-term assistance since 2009. The judge noted a consistent pattern of conflicts with care providers since 2015, ruling institutional care necessary until May 4, 2028.
