New: Simpang Renggam crash BMW veered into opposite lane crashing into cars

A 19-year-old driver has been arrested after a five-vehicle crash on Monday (Jun 1) in Johor’s Kluang district killed five people, including the driver’s older brother and a 10-year-old girl. Police said the teen was believed to have been driving a Mercedes-Benz A250 at high speed alongside his 22-year-old brother, who was driving a BMW 530e. The BMW reportedly lost control, crossed into the opposite lane and collided into four vehicles. Among those killed were the 36-year-old driver of a Toyota Vios, his 33-year-old wife, a 73-year-old woman and a 10-year-old girl. Several others, including two children, were injured and are receiving treatment, police said. #malaysia #malaysianews
