Fifteen Malaysian soldiers were injured when an Armed Forces truck crashed into the Bukit Teratai toll plaza along the Sungai Besi‑Ulu Kelang Elevated Expressway (SUKE) in Ampang Jaya on April 30. Police said the incident occurred at 4.40pm after the truck, en route from Kem Sungai Besi to Kuala Kubu Bharu, suffered brake failure.

Soldiers Injured

All passengers seated at the rear sustained injuries and were taken to Hospital Ampang for treatment. Authorities are investigating under Section 43 of the Road Transport Act 1987 for careless and inconsiderate driving. The case highlights safety concerns involving military transport vehicles.
