KAJANG, July 5 – Police have arrested a woman after a viral video showed her two young daughters sticking their heads out of a moving car’s sunroof along the Grand Saga Highway near Kampung Batu 10, Cheras. District police chief ACP Naazron Abdul Yusof said the incident, recorded around 6 p.m. yesterday, was detected on the Threads app before a police report was lodged.
Mom Arrested
The 30‑year‑old mother of the girls, aged four and six, was detained at the Kajang District Police Headquarters to assist investigations. The case is being probed under Section 31(1)(a) of the Child Act 2001 and Section 336 of the Penal Code, which carry penalties including fines and imprisonment.
