Rafizi Ramli couldn’t resist poking fun at Tengku Zafrul, now Anwar Ibrahim’s right-hand man, during his mobile counter session in Pandan. With his trademark wit, Rafizi joked that Zafrul’s sudden appearances in Pandan felt more like a circus act than serious politics. “One day he’s fixing DB boxes, the next he’s promising to repaint every flat in Pandan. If he keeps this up, we’ll have to hire him as the official clown of the constituency,” Rafizi quipped, drawing laughter from residents.
Rafizi Mocks Zafrul
He reminded locals not to be fooled by election-season theatrics, recalling Zafrul’s flashy promises in Kuala Selangor that vanished after defeat. Rafizi cheekily added, “I hope he doesn’t forget Tambun—surely there are DB boxes burning there too. Otherwise, PMX might need a new seat!” His playful jab painted Zafrul as more entertainer than policymaker, leaving Pandan residents amused but wary.
