Kuala Lumpur: The government has two special financial assistance packages for people suffering from adverse effects of COVID-19 vaccinations.
The packages are for individuals who have serious side effects after receiving COVID-19 vaccine injection under PICK.
RM50,000 in case of serious side effects to COVID-19 vaccine recipients who require prolonged treatment in hospital.
RM500,000 in the event of permanent disability or death due to COVID-19 vaccine.
In March, the government agreed to compensate individuals who suffer severe adverse effects after being vaccinated for Covid-19.
