Tian Chua, the veteran reformasi campaigner, is finally sacked from the PKR, the party he represented in Parliament and the same party he went against in the recently concluded GE on Nov 19 where he lost his deposit.

Losing his deposit is a sign that he made his mark and is outdated, says some netizens, while others are arguing that he is another ‘Reformasi 98’ figure that is out of PKR. After Azmin Ali and a few others leaving the party, the PKR now has a new look though some believe the new crop of members did not pay the price like some former leaders like Tian Chua did.

Nevertheless, Chua showed support for Azmin at the height of the ‘gay’ video scandal and this and other actions by Chua stacked up against him in the party leading to his losing his might and chance to be fielded in GE15.
