The Sembrong UMNO Division has reiterated its call for the immediate, unconditional reinstatement of Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein, marking the second year of this proposal. Division chief Datuk Abdul Ghani Abdul Rashid emphasized the delegates’ desire for the former Senior Defence Minister’s return to active party roles ahead of the 16th General Election (GE16). Meanwhile, UMNO Vice President Datuk Seri Johari Abdul Ghani, speaking at the Ketereh Division Delegates’ Meeting, urged the formation of strong, cohesive teams to prepare for GE16, expected in two years. He stressed training to avoid sabotage, identifying capable leaders, and addressing the diverse priorities of young voters, who will comprise 40% of the electorate, to ensure political stability and national progress
