CYBERJAYA, 1 JULY 2026 – Families, children and community members are invited to experience a day of creativity, learning and entertainment at the Strings of Joy Carnival 2026, organised by the Faculty of Psychology and Social Sciences (FPSS), University of Cyberjaya (UoC), in collaboration with UkuBear Ukulele Festival.
Taking place on Sunday, 12 July 2026 from 9.30am to 5.30pm at UoC’s Courtyard, the carnival will feature a vibrant mix of interactive activities designed to promote learning through play while strengthening family and community connections.
The event will showcase 13 student-led experiential booths alongside community partners and vendors, offering hands-on activities centred on creativity, sensory exploration, STEM discovery, active play, social-emotional learning, parent-child engagement and creative expression.
Held in conjunction with the UkuBear Ukulele Festival, visitors can also enjoy live ukulele performances and competitions featuring young talents from across the country, creating a lively family-friendly atmosphere throughout the day.
More than just a carnival, Strings of Joy serves as a practical learning platform where University of Cyberjaya students apply classroom knowledge in early childhood education, psychology and child development to real-world community settings.
Admission is free and open to the public.
