PONTIAN, 22 May — A 22-year-old man was discovered dead with slash wounds on his hands and legs in front of a food and beverage shop in Pekan Nanas early this morning. District police chief Superintendent Hadzrat Hussein Mion Hussain said the victim was confirmed dead at the scene after authorities received a call from the public at 3.55am.

The man was found lying in a pool of blood outside the premises. Police are investigating the case under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder and are working to determine the motive and track down suspects.
