SEREMBAN, 21 May — A female teacher, Nurul Asyikin, 42, was charged at the Sessions Court with five counts of sexual offences against her 14-year-old male student. She pleaded not guilty before Judge Siti Aishah Ab Rashid. Three charges involved physical sexual acts committed between September 2025 and April 2026 at Seremban locations, under Section 14(a) of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017.
Illicit Acts
Two further charges alleged non-physical offences, including sending explicit images via WhatsApp. Convictions carry up to 20 years’ jail and whipping. The case highlights serious breaches of trust within the teacher-student relationship.
