BATU PAHAT: A 41-year-old plantation worker was remanded for seven days by the Magistrate’s Court here today after being accused of raping his teenage biological daughter over the past two months.
Magistrate Nurasidah A Rahman ordered the remand to allow police to complete investigations under Section 376(3) of the Penal Code.
Rape
The victim, a student, endured the alleged assaults silently before confiding in a friend. The incidents reportedly occurred between 6pm and 7pm at their home while her Vietnamese mother was at work. Similar acts allegedly took place at night in March when the mother was abroad.
On May 9, after the final assault, the girl broke her silence. Accompanied by her teacher, she sought medical treatment at Sultanah Nora Ismail Hospital, where a doctor lodged a police report.
