Youngsters Now UPSET at Older Generation Claiming RM1,000 is Enough to Survive in KL

There have been a number of viral posts on X where some users claim that an older person would make out of touch statements to them. Back in the day, the cost of living was significantly lesser than it is today. However, youngsters claim that most would not be able to survive with RM1,000 in Kuala Lumpur today. 

Youngsters upset at older generation 

Other users claim that in 1998 they’re able to buy nasi ayam for RM2 in the shopping malls. Regardless, there are some who add that the youngsters today are spending a lot on frivolous items rather than saving their money for the future.
