GUA MUSANG: Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi criticized opposition leaders for requesting federal allocations with smiles but later attacking Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and the government. Speaking at a housing aid and Aidilfitri event in Kampung Jerek, he called such actions ungrateful, noting they occur in Kelantan, Terengganu, Kedah, and Perlis. Zahid urged opposition leaders to show gratitude and change their approach, emphasizing that allocations reflect the Madani government’s spirit of compassion. While differences of opinion are acceptable, he condemned the pattern of criticizing the government during elections after receiving funds.
